Woodland Path Therapy Services

My name is Eva, and I am a registered Play and Creative Arts Therapist, situated in Bexley, Kent.

Play therapy is a gentle and effective form of therapy that supports children’s emotional and psychological wellbeing. Children use play, creativity, and imagination to express themselves, helping them make sense of their experiences, manage emotions, and develop healthier ways of coping in a safe and child-centred environment.

My approach centres on creating a safe and supportive space where children feel heard, understood, and accepted just as they are. By working with care and compassion, I help children develop emotional understanding, confidence, and coping skills that support their wellbeing both now and in the future.

How does it help?

Play therapy can help children to:

  • Understand and express their thoughts and feelings safely
  • Develop healthy ways of coping with worries, anxiety, and change
  • Build emotional regulation and resilience
  • Strengthen self-esteem and confidence
  • Process difficult or confusing experiences
  • Improve relationships and social skills

Using a holistic, integrative therapeutic approach, play therapy supports the whole child — emotionally, socially, and developmentally. This helps children feel more settled, better understood, and more able to engage positively both at home and at school
